Exciting new projects in 2020

What a start to 2020! The BOC team kicked off what is sure to be a banner year with projects for Mackay CEO Forums, UBC Sauder and the BC Cancer Foundation, as well as starting our first project for Destination BC. We also produced an animated video adaptation of the Rick Hansen Foundation’s children’s book The Boy Who Loved To Move, a touching and fun story for children who are facing unimaginable barriers.

The most exciting project of the month award though, goes without a doubt to FORM Swim’s ‘Swimming with Dan’ (SWD) video. Modelled after Jerry Seinfeld’s ‘Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee’, the video is the first in an episodic series that features wearable tech icon Dan Eisenhardt and a colourful cast of athletes as they chat all things swimming and of course, head to the pool.

We loved creating the contemporary, dynamic feel of the show, and learning from the first guest Stig Severinsen: free-diving world record holder and the human fish.

#TBT to an epic 3 country, 12-day shoot

We were hired by Recon Instruments to produce a series of videos that told the inspiring stories of three triathletes who faced adversity and how they used Recon Jet to return to competition. The shoot took us from the windy (and snowy) suburbs of Chicago, to the cold and damp countryside of Northeast England and finishing up in the lava fields of Kona.
